The most feared of his generation inside the 6 Crests and one of the most sought after outside it, such is the reputation of the Maniacal Alchemist. Being born to a cursed combination of the bloodlines of the Glitch Queen and Hell Queen, many believed that he would become a great warrior or feared sorcerer like his peers, this belief gained more credibility when he entered the tutelage of the Harmonic Weaponsmith. Yet, it was the field of alchemy that drew his attention, something further solidified after he studied the force of Harmony under his teacher. Yet he proved himself no less deadly than his peers, shouting things such as “IN THE NAME of ALCHEMY” and apologising after causing one more explosion while experimenting. No one in the Crests is safe from the reach of the Maniacal Alchemist, who would regularly feed volunteers (read: forced test subjects) experimental *****, with only his healing ***** ensuring that they survived and remained in good health. Those outside the Crests know nothing of his actions, hence the constant attempt to entice him into their clans or organisation.

During one of his many experiments, Blood thought of using the three sources of power that he had access to, the Glitch blood, the Hell blood and the force of Harmony during the weeks of the Nocturnes. He had already experimented with each of those three individually, or in pairs, but never all three. It is important to note, that he had managed to minimise explosions caused by said experiments to only 70%, as in the experiments blew up in his face 70% of the time more often than not with embarrassing and/or permanent results. He did not look like he does now before one of these experiments. However, feeling more confident than usual, the force of Harmony had been nudging him towards this. Having learned from the Harmonic Weaponsmith, to never ignore the nudge, he decided he might as well begin the experiment as usual, with the inclusion of a massive explosion. But this one was so great that the others grew worried, when they came to check, they saw a comical but proud Blood, holding a sentient cauldron, that seemed to be trying to eat him.
