ABOUT - » Rune is not a dragon, but rather a ghostly manifestation of the ruins in the woods surrounding Winterhome. He is the collective thoughts and memories of everything that has happened there in the past. » Plagued with the tragic demise of the crumbling fortress that Winterhome was built within, Rune is lost, angry, and confused. He doesn't quite comprehend what is going on around him. » Regardless of all of this, he has formed some kind of bond with the dragon Eirene. She often feels Rune's emotions and experiences, which are generally distressing for her. » When feeling particularly lonely, Rune lures her into the woods to keep him company. These interactions, often with Rune taking his dragon form to spend time with her, are generally more horrifying for her than he intends. » At some level, he just wants to find peace and comfort, but nothing he does to try to befriend Eirene does anything but make everything worse. |
