Born a child of Ice, with the instant ability to create small icestorms.
As he grew, he learned to control his Ice elemental powers, as well as the Arcane magic he discovered he had by chance. This new magic opened his eyes to the true depths of his powers, but he discovered it also came with a great cost.

He was told of his lineage while in a trance. A vision of his future was bestowed onto him, if he surrendered to the magic's will. He was given a glimpse of what his future would hold.

The magic demanded blood.
Either through breeding alone, or breeding sacrifices.
To continue his bloodline, and pass on his magic, or to sacrifice the chosen of his blood line.

If he refused the magic's will, his magic would either be drained from him, and given to another, more deserving. Or the magic in his veins would turn to acid, and burn him alive.
He had only but to breed, and continue his lineage.
To create a hatchling from his own bloodline, which had the potential to bestow more arcane and elemental magic than even he held within his veins.

So he accepted.
But while he was a Nocturne, the blood in his veins started to burn under his skin.
He was not able to pass on his blood magic quickly enough, to keep it at bay.
He pleaded desperately with the magic, but the magic refused him.
His only solution, was to return to his original shape.
The original shape of the glitch queen herself, a Fae.
