Sard is the son of a nocturne and an imperial pair from the Madhouse Clan. His father, Dravite, is nothing short of a hopeless romantic while his mother, Amber, is studious and introverted. He is from the pairs second clutch of eggs, along with a brother and sister in other parts of Sornieth. Sard is larger than the average nocturne due to the imperial genes in his bloodline from his uncle and father.
It is obvious that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in his family. His uncle Bishop is his mothers twin brother, and both dragons sought the pursuit of knowledge. Though Bishop had moved from the Ashfall Wastes to the Icefields, he frequently visited his sister and extended family. After seeing his sisters most recent clutch, he asked her blessing to adopt and raise one of her children, and Sard was the lucky pick.
Though he enjoys his life among the icecaps and the friends he's made, he's having trouble breaking it to his uncle and mother that he is, in fact, not interested in becoming a scholar. His true passion lies in sculpting. Sasha shares her materials and kiln with him, and the two enjoy bouncing ideas off one another. Sard prefers to sculpt other dragons rather than objects, and clan members with upcoming birthdays should expect to find a piece of art in their likeness outside their den on their special day.

TRIVIA/NOTES/ETC
He technically shares a den with his uncle but he often sneaks off to stay with Sasha on Wrex's island. She's practically adopted him as a little brother and protégé. He also enjoys keeping Wrex company.
He's way too shy to admit to it but he has a massive crush on both Radek and Eros. |
