Demi was a pretty ordinary hatchling. She wasn't born with any notable talents, or knack for magic or fighting or anything, and for a long time it seemed she wouldn't even pick up a trade. To say she was worried about it would have been a stretch. Demi might not have a skill to be revered for, but that left her with a lot of freedom to do whatever she pleased. It gave her time to try many different things, rather practice just one thing throughout her hatchlinghood. She'd figure out what she wanted to do with her life later.
