Dune --- Mate of None Temp DESCRIPTION Dune is the vital piece in keeping good relations between one of their allied clans; the clan of Knowledge Forest. After Nile, Dune, and Char spent time making friends with two neighboring clans, Dune's friendship with Beegz stuck. Dune has made it no secret that one of the most important dragons in his life is his best friend, Beegz. Beegz belongs to a clan that is also located in the Light territory and have made their union official many moons ago. Inside the clan, Dune is close to Nile and Char -- the two dragons to accompany him to the diplomat meeting. Dune and Nile are close friends and are actually quite close together in age. Its clear to the others in the clan that Dune looks up to Char. Despite the older Fae's career, he still has time if Dune seeks him out of advice. Dune can be quite nervous when first meeting new dragons but this nervousness can result in a word-vomit incident. He doesn't physically vomit but his nervousness can result in him beginning to blab. Another thing about Dune is that he is very naive and has a tendency of asking questions that may not be appropriate to ask. Not due to malice or anything inappropriately sexual or anything...just maybe not the most polite thing to ask dragons that you're not comfortably familiar with.

What bad habits do they have?: Lacks being able to tell what approbate conversation topics are. He's very naive and innocent and doesn't realize that it might not have been polite to ask until it's been asked.
How do they display affection?: He's very physically affectionate. If he trusts them a lot, he can be seen cuddling up (or sitting or riding on if bigger) on other dragons. Leaning against others, legs touching, wings touching. If he likes and trusts you, he's very physically affectionate.
How do they see themselves?: He tends to think he's not really fitting into the clan (which is mostly attributed to his shyness) and he worries that he may be a burden on the others. Or he may have overstepped boundaries --because-Icewarden-he-isn't-good-at-that! And he just really wants to be liked. He tends to judge himself on how others see him.
How are they seen by others?: Most dragons find him...cute. He's very naive and affectionate, curious, happy -- like a hatchling. Most won't tell him that, but the ones who do know him like him a lot -- its kind of hard to not like him -- and others are neutral to him. No big like or dislike towards him -- they just don't really know him to have an opinion.
How competitive are they?: Not very competitive. Like at all. He just wants to do well by his team or just have fun.
Do they make snap judgements or take time to consider?: He has a habit of making snap judgements. He doesn't really take time to consider unless he thinks it could greatly impact others. For decisions for himself, he knows if he takes time to consider he'll talk himself out of it.
How do they react to praise?: He blushes dark blue and gets all stutter-y and is clearly very happy and embarrassed by the praise.
What is their greatest fear?: That he'll lose the dragons closest to him.
Describe their best friend.: Dune's best friend is a Mirror dragon named Beegz. They met when the Lightseeker clan, Clan of the Knowledge Forest (Beegz's clan) and one other. Beegz and Dune have a very lighthearted, playful relationship. Beegz would protect Dune 100% and Dune feels more closer for her than any other dragons than he knows in his own clan. If it would save Beegz, he would betray his own clan. But, that isn't something he thinks about. It's an unconscious idea that he doesn't realize that he even has to protect his friend.
Describe their other friends: Dune's other two friends are Char and Nile. Nile is the healer of the clan and is therefore a bit of a worrywart for her friends. She's quiet but very caring. She has a sweet tooth and often invites dragons to come have tea/drink with her over small desserts to discuss their day and how they are doing. Char is his other friend. Truthfully, Dune looks up to Char. He admires the older Fae very much and seeks out the older male for advice. Char is the commander of the merchant trade and even though he is very busy, and gone quite a bit, he always makes time for Dune.
